Pollora ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

Account and Profile

  • Email address, used for sign-in
  • Display name and handle
  • Profile photo, if you choose to upload one
  • Bio, if you choose to add one

Content You Create

  • Polls, poll options, and cover images you post
  • Votes you cast
  • Comments and replies you write
  • Accounts you follow

Usage Data

  • Date your account was created
  • Interaction counts, including votes received and polls created

We do not collect location data, device identifiers, or track you across other apps or websites.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate and provide the Pollora service
  • To display your profile, polls, and comments to other users
  • To authenticate you via email, Google, or Apple Sign-In
  • To maintain your follow relationships and social feed

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase servers. Passwords are never stored by Pollora because authentication is handled via secure tokens. Profile photos are stored in Supabase Storage with access limited to authenticated users.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings > Account > Delete Account. Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes your profile, polls, votes, comments, and uploaded images.

6. Your Rights

  • Edit or delete your profile information
  • Delete polls and comments you have created
  • Block or report other users and their content
  • Permanently delete your account and all associated data from within the app by going to Settings > Account > Delete Account

7. Children's Privacy

Pollora is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date above.
